MISSION

Guided by the Holy Spirit,

we worship and honor God in spirit and in truth,

are equipped to become true disciples in our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

and share the good news of salvation with all people.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Living Word Christian Church believes in the following:

• We believe in the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God,
divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and life.

• We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifested in the flesh; in His virgin birth, His sinless life,
His divine miracles, and His substitutionary and saving death.

• We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His present intercessory ministry,
and His personal return in power and glory.

• We believe that all people are lost sinners and are saved by grace through faith, not by works,
through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the Holy Spirit, who dwells in believers, enabling them to live holy lives, to bear witness, and to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

• We believe in the Church, the Body of Christ, the spiritual unity of all true believers.

• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost:

 the saved to eternal life, and the lost to judgment and punishment.

• We believe in the mission of the Church, according to the Word of God,
to reach all people in every aspect of life in today’s world.
